Job Description
The Substitute position assists regular staff in providing opportunities for the physical and cognitive growth of children in a safe and sanitary environment. This role involves providing assistance to classroom and/or nutrition staff that meets or exceeds Head Start Performance Standards. The position requires strong communication and computer skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma of GED required
- Experience in a classroom setting preferred
- Proficiency with a computer (keyboard proficiency) and office technology (telephone, fax, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Understanding of automated data processing
