Medical Billing Specialist

Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to support revenue cycle operations. This role ensures accurate and timely billing for client services, working closely with internal teams and external payers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of medical billing or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures and claims processing.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and payer requirements.
• Experience with EHR and billing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
