Job Description
This is an PRN-AS NEEDED opportunity with variable days of the week for a Certified Surgical Tech to provide technical assistance to the surgeon and perform duties to assist the surgical team in care of surgical patients.
Requirements
- Collaborates with other members of the health care team to resolve patient care problems and enhance care delivery.
- Assists in the preparation for surgical cases assuring that supplies, equipment, and instruments are available.
- Performs scrub role as assigned for a variety of surgical procedures.
- Assists the surgical team in the transport, transfer, and positioning of patients in the operating room.
- Assists with the maintenance, care, cleaning, packaging, sterilization, and inventory of instruments, as directed.
