Job Description
The Hospital Stationary Engineer is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to HVAC systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation. This part-time role involves servicing boilers, heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment, along with ensuring proper operation and safety of the facility. The role requires a proactive approach and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- Perform service and repair of hot water boilers, high and low pressure steam boilers.
- Perform service and repair of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
- Displays a working comprehension of various control systems, mechanical equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Initiates repairs to equipment found to be malfunctioning.
- Conducts and logs daily equipment rounds.
- Maintains responsibility for building utilities such as electrical distribution, plumbing risers, fire suppression, and emergency power systems.
