Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant works energetically to improve and secure CHCL as the medical and dental home for our clients. Under the general supervision of a Dental Director and the Site Manager, the Dental Assistant provides chair side assistance and support for the Dentist; performs such procedures as x-rays and sterilization of dental instruments; and provides dental education, especially to children and their parents or caregivers.

Requirements

• High School graduation or GED equivalent
• Texas RDA Certificate
• One year experience as a chair side assistant preferred
• One year experience in ordering and maintaining supplies preferred
• Extensive radiology experience or a Radiology Certificate from the State of Texas
• Qualified in BLS techniques
