The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), is responsible for providing a supportive role to medical professionals to administer patient care. They take patient’s vital signs, assist Physicians and Nurses throughout examinations, and perform other duties such as recording and updating patient histories and providing assistance with therapies.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program.
- Licensed as a Practical/Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas.
- One to two years’ experience as a LVN, preferably with experience in a clinic, doctor’s office, or similar health care facility.
- Current in Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (CPR).
