Pharmacist in Charge

The Pharmacist in Charge position is responsible for accurately filling controlled medications, providing clear and concise communication, and maintaining good stewardship of CHC/SEK's resources.

Requirements

• Provides positive impression to patients, visitors, and employees
• Reviews prescriptions for accuracy and determines formulas and ingredients needed
• Accurately fills controlled medications in a timely manner
• Participates in Medication Therapy Management
• Maintains established procedures concerning security of controlled substances
• Communicates effectively with providers, clinical staff, and patients
• Oversees the ordering and management of medication inventory
• Responsible for hiring, managing, and evaluating pharmacy staff
• Performs all duties in full compliance with CHC/SEK policies and procedures
