Massage Therapy Department Head

The Massage Therapy Department Head is responsible for leading the department, managing the day-to-day functioning of the program, and providing quality education and training to students. The role requires a valid Oklahoma Massage Therapy License and a minimum of five years' experience in the Massage Therapy field.

Requirements

• Valid Oklahoma Massage Therapy License
• National certification (optional)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Diploma or Associate degree in Massage Therapy (preferred)
• Five years' experience in Massage Therapy (minimum), ten years' experience preferred
• Proficiency in Swedish, hydrotherapy, sports massage, clinical protocols, reflexology, aromatherapy, and other therapeutic spa treatments
• Technical college teaching experience (preferred)
• Leadership experience (preferred)
• Experience in a non-profit setting (preferred)
