Job Description
Community Medical Services is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients recovering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances in an outpatient setting. The role involves facilitating individual and group sessions, treatment plans, and coping strategies to foster a safe recovery environment.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required, plus: An associate degree and two years of relevant experience in behavioral health setting; OR a bachelor's degree in behavioral health field, OR master's degree in behavioral health field.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and MVR clearance is required.
- Active LAC license or above preferred
