Director Of Day & Employment Services (Central PA)

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are in search of a Director of Day & Employment Services based out of Camp Hill, PA. The Director maintains a high-quality program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• Lead and train a team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Manage and coordinate community-based vocational and employment programs
• Supervise, evaluate, and provide direct support to Employment Specialists
• Oversee the development of employment and volunteer opportunities for individuals with disabilities
• Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition
• Assist with processing and approving all billing in a timely manner
• Attend planning meetings for individuals and document follow up as needed
• Oversee planning and facilitation of weekly day habilitation activities
• Provide on-going supervision and support for community integration
• Review all documentation of daily outings
• Assist in building a support network between the individual, family members and the community
• Employees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation
