Job Description
Youth Care Professional responsible for supervising and providing care for youth in a residential crisis stabilization setting, implementing daily routines, and documenting resident activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Three years working with children and youth with emotional and behavioral challenges, or sixty hours of shadowing a lead Direct Care Staff and a review of the agency's policy and procedure for reporting child abuse and neglect
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Full range of body motions
- Ability to spend 80%-90% of the time standing, walking, kneeling and/or reaching to perform job duties
