Job Description
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for the provision of patient care activities, related non-professional services necessary for patient care and the maintenance of the operating room under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The Surgical Technologist is responsible for the implementation of technical components of patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse according to policy, procedure, and protocol.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training
- Knowledgeable of Principles of Aseptic Technique
- Ability to correlate clinical data with patient's medical and nursing care
