Nurse Practitioner - SICU

Compass Government Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) to support patient care services at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The NP will deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill surgical patients, including active-duty service members, military families, and retirees.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (NPP)
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
• DEA registration with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration for Schedules II–V controlled substances
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the required specialty from one of the recognized national certifying bodies
• 2+ years of clinical experience in medical and surgical applications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required for Critical Care Units
