Job Description
Compass Health Center is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their team in Silver Spring, Maryland. The role involves providing daily care for under 18 in PHP/IOP programs, conducting psychiatric evaluations, and leading interdisciplinary treatment teams.
Requirements
- BE or BC Adult Psychiatrist
- Active, unrestricted Maryland medical license
- DC and VA license preferred
- Willingness and eligibility to apply for cross-licensure through the Interstate Medical License Compact
- Licensed or ability to obtain Maryland Board of Medical Practice Licensure
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Maryland
- Skilled in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness
- Excellent communication skills and the desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
