Job Description
The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspection programs to support the accurate dimensional evaluation of turbine engine components. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, regulatory requirements, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, and internal quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of three years' experience in CMM programming and dimensional inspection in aerospace, precision machining or related manufacturing
- Experience as a metrologist with demonstrated knowledge of establishing, maintaining, and improving upon measurement standards, calibrating precision instruments, developing measurement methods for high-tolerance parts, and ensuring measurements comply with industry, regulatory, and quality standards
