Parts Cleaning Technician - Entry Level (2nd Shift, Mon-Fri)

The Entry Level Parts Cleaning Technician will learn to use caustic and acidic cleaners to remove surface contaminants from gas turbine engine components. Through our extensive in-house training program, the successful candidate will be instructed via a series of computer based and hands-on training, the necessary skills of the position.

Requirements

• Follow detailed procedures in the processing of engine components throughout the chemical clean line process
• Perform various cleaning operations, such as chemical cleaning, power wash, nitric strip, paint strip and titanium oven bakes
• Routinely use overhead cranes and ensure cleansing tank times and parameters are adhered to during the process
• Accurately log all process and results in department job log
• Communicate all work-related problems and issues with supervisors or other departments in a timely and efficient manner
