The Weld Department Supervisor is responsible for the requirements of the Weld Department during the assigned shift and will lead the weld team to meet the goals of our customers.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory role (or similar) in a manufacturing environment or aviation maintenance setting.
- Successful completion of skill specific TIG welding courses from an approved technical or welding school and/or a minimum of two years' TIG specific welding experience.
- Previous certification credentials in an AWS welding classification, with AWS D17.1 preference.
- High School graduate, with advanced educational accreditation preferred.
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Basic knowledge of computers and standard software programs.
- Experience in interpreting and applying basic shop math and the use of measuring devices.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Overall knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
