Thermal Spray Technician (2nd shift, Mon-Fri)

The Thermal Spray Technician will perform thermal spray coatings on turbine engine components. The position requires a minimum of six months to one year of experience in the thermal spray process. The successful applicant will be instructed via a series of computer-based and hands-on training, the necessary skills of the position.

Requirements

• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines
• Interpret and follow work instructions and shop drawings
• Inspect and prepare parts for thermal spray coatings
• Set up and operate thermal spray equipment
• Select and apply specified coatings
• Handle all coatings in accordance with established safety, quality, stock control and security policies
• Apply coating either manual or via computer-controlled processes
• Maintain equipment as required
• Frequently perform process tests for quality control
