Behavioral Health Specialist/Corrections Therapist

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist/Corrections Therapist to work within the Yakima County Jail primarily with individuals who have been ordered to receive a competency evaluation due to behavioral health concerns. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to work with those in the legal system in order to help them obtain services that will ultimately reduce future legal contact.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
• Must have associate or full professional licensure or be otherwise eligible for MHP designation
• Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor
• Valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
