Crisis Outreach Professionals provide intervention and support to individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crisis. They take calls, travel to the community to assess individuals, and make arrangements for hospital placements or outpatient treatment as appropriate.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Two years of previous experience providing behavioral health treatment is preferred
- Must be eligible for designation as Mental Health Professional
- Must be eligible for one of the following credentials with the WA Department of Health: LAAC, LMHC or LMHCA, LICSW or LICSWA
- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
