Job Description
Comprehensive Healthcare is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide support and encouragement to clients in their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will have personal experience with behavioral health issues and treatment, and will be able to use this experience to relate to others and promote socialization and self-advocacy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Self-identified consumer of mental health services in stable recovery
- Eligible for Peer Counselor certification provided by the Washington State Healthcare Authority
- Eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor
- Valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or approved for a qualifying medical or religious exemption
