Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team at MARE, an eHealth tech hub in Venice. The successful candidate will develop ETL processes to cleanse and normalize healthcare data using Python and Elasticsearch, and contribute to the further development of our data landscape in the public cloud.
Requirements
- Completed degree in (medical) informatics, mathematics, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification
- Advanced experience with Python-based ETL processes using Spark and Airflow, as well as NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch and alternatives like Parquet
- At least 4 years of professional experience in data engineering using cloud services from GCP and/or Azure
- Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1)
