Job Description
Data Center Consultant at Computacenter. Provide transformative technology solutions for visionary companies. Assist in designing and implementing single and multi-vendor technology solutions in a Data Center environment.
Requirements
- Ability to assess Customer environment and make design and solution recommendations
- Act as liaison between Pre-Sales and Delivery teams
- Provide design, deployment and implementation services of single or multi-vendor solutions in a Data Center environment
- Handle issues escalated by Engineers and Sr. Engineers
- Ability to troubleshoot multi-vendor issues
- Lead a Project team
- Be current with vendor offerings and technology
- Be available to meet the customers IT needs
- Achievement of utilization targets
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Provide after-hours on-call support
- Understand and abide by all security and operational policies
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Computacenter
- Safety and security of facility
- 90% domestic travel
