Job Description
The FTZ Specialist supports the Customs Manager in ensuring Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) compliance and adherence to U.S. Customs and Trade regulations.
Requirements
- Audit customs entries, including 214’s and FTZ entries, for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with customs brokers.
- Respond to customs broker inquiries and follow through to resolution in a timely manner.
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and periodic review of Customs Compliance Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist the Customs Manager with product classification to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and internal standards.
- Review material master (new item set-up) requests and related reports to validate correct tariff classifications.
