Lab Technician, Engineering

Conair is seeking a lab technician to support our Engineering and Marketing teams with design, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting on existing and competitive products across multiple brands. This role will be based in our Stamford office with 1-2 days per week at our Torrington location. Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical products
• Experience working in a product testing environment or machine shop environment
• Direct experience with test procedures and documentation
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to design and build unique test fixtures in a machine shop environment
• Strong working knowledge of standard test equipment and gauging
• Experience with approval agencies and test methodology
• Working knowledge of 3D design software (Solid Works and Creo/Pro E preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
