Concord is seeking a Business Affairs Administration Manager to support the digital business team and manage blanket licenses for music publishing. The role reports to the SVP of Business and Legal Affairs and requires 4-6 years of paralegal experience in music publishing or digital media.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of paralegal or equivalent experience at a music publishing or digital media company, or at a law firm (IP, entertainment, or corporate)
- Ability to articulate how music is used in a digital service or device from a technological and/or legal perspective
- Experience working with Excel, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar spreadsheet and/or project management software
- Knowledge or interest in learning the difference between recorded music and music publishing from a music business perspective and in the context of U.S. copyright law
- A general understanding of the Digital Millennial Copyright Act (DMCA) and related rules
- Up to date on the latest news on music and technology
- Attention to detail and a conscientious approach, ability to manage large volumes of sensitive information with utmost discretion and care
