Job Description
Conexon is a rapidly growing telecommunications company partnering with Rural Electric Cooperatives to design and deploy advanced fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks nationwide. We are looking for a Fiber Locator to accurately locate, map, and mark the location of fiber optic cables, ensuring the integrity of underground fiber optic infrastructure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in construction, telecommunications, or a similar field may be preferred
- Technical certifications or specialized training in fiber optics may be required
- Knowledge of fiber optic infrastructure, utility locating equipment, and basic GIS mapping
- Attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong communication skills
