Job Description
The job of Principal (Elementary/Middle) is to direct overall site operations, services, and staff at a designated Elementary or Middle School, provide instructional leadership, and supervise students and professional staff.
Requirements
- Collects student achievement data
- Delegates responsibility to Assistant Principal and other personnel
- Evaluates assigned personnel
- Facilitates communication between personnel, students, and parents/guardians
- Implements policies, procedures, and/or processes
- Leads meetings
- Manages school administrative functions
- Monitors 3rd-party partners
- Oversees site budgets and expenditures
- Oversees development, implementation, and monitoring of school site plan
- Participates in the hiring process
- Participates in meetings, workshops, and seminars
- Prepares a wide variety of materials
- Presents information
- Provides quality professional development opportunities
- Supervises instructional and non-instructional personnel
- Performs other related duties
