Job Description
Instrument and Control Engineer responsible for establishing, reviewing and overseeing the relevant instrument & control design of newly build or modified equipment, ensuring technical integrity and providing technical support and solutions for instrument-related issues.
Requirements
- 8 years of practical experience in instrument & control maintenance/design function in an oil & gas or petrochemical plant
- Conversant with local codes, regulations and submission procedures
- Expert knowledge of electrical & instrument international engineering design and communication protocol (e.g. Fieldbus, Modbus)
- Experience in functional safety for the process industry as per IEC 61511
- Certified functional safety engineer will be an advantage
- Experience with Siemens PLC programming software and languages
- Experience with Yokogawa DCS will be an advantage
