Job Description
The Reference Librarian performs a broad range of professional responsibilities of librarianship in the library of a Community College providing library services to students, faculty, staff and citizens of the communities served by the College.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Library Science with one (1) or more years of relevant experience working in a Library.
- Knowledge of library services
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
