High School English Teacher - South Carolina Connections Academy

South Carolina Connections Academy is seeking a High School English Teacher to work full-time from home. The teacher will manage instructional programs, communicate with students and parents, and develop a general knowledge of the K-12 curriculum. The role requires a certified teacher with experience in High School English, strong technology skills, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Certified to teach High School English in South Carolina
• Must reside in South Carolina
• Gifted and Talented Endorsement highly recommended
• Strong technology skills (especially with MS Office programs and Google Suite)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Highly organized and punctual
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
• Team player track record
• Willingness to travel on occasion for school and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
• Ability to work remotely, if necessary
• Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
• Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
