Middle School Language Arts Teacher - Missouri Connections Academy

This position is working with Missouri Connections Academy as a Middle School Language Arts Teacher. The teacher will manage instructional programs, consult with learning coaches and students, and ensure successful completion of the program. The teacher will also communicate with parents, students, and other teachers, and work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure student progress and completion of tasks.

Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary English/Language Arts in Missouri
• Experience with Professional Learning Communities
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
• Team player track record
• Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
• Ability to work remotely, if necessary
• Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
• Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
