Middle School Science Teacher - Oregon Connections Academy

Oregon Connections Academy seeks a certified Middle School Science Teacher to work from home, supporting students and families through virtual instruction, grading, and communication. Responsibilities include developing and implementing curriculum, communicating with parents and students, and participating in marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach MS Science in Oregon
• Multiple Oregon endorsements strongly preferred
• Oregon ESL/ELL endorsement strongly preferred
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Highly organized and punctual
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
• Team player track record
• Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
• Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
