Special Education Teacher - Texas Connections Academy @ Houston

Texas Connections Academy @ Houston is a Texas Online School that offers 100% virtual instruction to public school students across Texas in grades 3-12. The Special Education Teacher will manage instructional programs for students with special needs, collaborate with general education teachers, and participate in the ARD/IEP process.

Requirements

• Certification in Special Education (EC-12)
• Valid Special Education credential in Texas
• Experience in policy (IDEA) and/or administration with Special Education
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office and Google products)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
• Team player track record
• Ability to travel on occasion for marketing, state testing and school based events
