Job Description
Accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. Certified Special Education Substitute Teachers will support the learning program for students in Connections Academy schools across the country from their home office.
Requirements
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Special Education in Oregon
- Multiple state certifications are a plus
- Ability to obtain certification in other states as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting
- Excellent attention to detail, and strong time management and organizational skills
- Proven commitment to student achievement
- Strong technology skills
- Reliable, high-speed internet access
- Microsoft OS- and Microsoft Office-equipped computer required
- Customer-focused approach and team-player track record
