Job Description
ConnectOne Bank is seeking a dynamic and energetic intern for its Project Management team. The intern will assist various departments, conduct research, capture data, and attend meetings to learn about the banking industry. The internship will provide an overview of careers in the banking field and opportunities to participate in networking events, community service, and skill-building activities.
Requirements
- Act as a key coordinator between departments and EPMO to ensure project milestones stay on track and teams remain aligned
- Assist in managing project RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies)
- Utilize project management tools (i.e., JIRA) to monitor progress against KPIs and assist in preparing status reports for executive review
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all project artifacts meet the bank’s internal audit and regulatory standards
- Support Senior Project Managers from Inception/Discovery to Closure; identify process bottlenecks and drafting 'post-mortem/lesson learned' reviews to improve the efficiency of future initiatives
