College Admissions Counselor

ConnectPrep is expanding its college admissions team and seeks a college admissions counselor to provide a personalized experience for clients, helping students craft their story and navigate the college application process.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years working as an admissions officer/reader at a selective college
• A thorough understanding of the high school curriculum, AP, IB, all standardized tests including the ACT, SAT, and other standardized tests
• Experience working with students 7th -12th grade, transfer applications, and private/boarding school applicants
• Expertise with the differences between public, private, charter, and boarding school environments
• Knowledge of the college process, different types of schools, resources, and environments
• A proven track record with placing students in selective colleges, prestigious high school internships and other extra curricular activities
