Job Description
The Digital Preservation and Archives Intern will support the long-term stewardship of the Rural History Project by processing and inventorying a diverse collection of documents, photographs, and audio assets. This role is responsible for researching industry-standard archival best practices to help draft and refine the studio’s formal digital preservation policy, performing hands-on digitization of analog materials, and managing their publication to online platforms.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in library science or related study preferred, or equivalent years of experience
- Archive experience preferred
- 15 hours/week for 12 weeks
- June-August 2026
- $14.00/hour for up to 180 hours
