QA/QC Manager

This is a full-time on-site, salaried role for a Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager located in Orange, TX. The QA/QC Manager will oversee and ensure the quality of all shipyard projects, lead a small team of inspectors, and implement company QA/QC procedures.

Requirements

• Lead a team of inspectors to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct weld inspections, fit-up verification, air/hydro testing, and support third-party NDI.
• Verify welding equipment and tools are in compliance with certification requirements.
• Implement and maintain company QA/QC procedures.
• Manage audits, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection and testing documentation, including hold-point inspections.
• Interface with USCG, ABS, and customer representatives on compliance matters.
• Train, mentor, and develop QA/QC staff on quality processes and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in project kickoff meetings to provide quality input.
• Collaborate with operations and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
