Job Description
Constellation Schools are seeking a Long Term Substitute 4-8th Grade Music Teacher in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate is a highly qualified teacher with a state of Ohio teaching license, a bachelor's degree in education or related field, and experience working in an urban environment. The teacher will be responsible for preparing and delivering lesson plans, differentiating instruction, and creating a positive classroom environment.
Requirements
- Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to properly manage confidential information
- Able to supervise students of various ages in different school settings
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
- Experience working within an urban environment
