Carpenter Journeyperson - Fish Creek Wastewater Treatment

Carpenter Journeyperson position available for the Fish Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, AB, with a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule. Responsibilities include building forms for concrete, cutting and shaping, and acting as a work leader and mentor to apprentice carpenters. Must have a Carpenter Journeyperson Ticket or equivalent experience and ability to work safely in the industrial Carpentry trade.

Requirements

• Carpenter Journeyperson Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
• Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
• Experience with concrete formwork
• Fall Protection is an asset
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
