Design Engineer - Miami, FL

Join our team at Ceco Concrete Construction as a Design Engineer! As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering innovative and practical design solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects. You will lead the development of detailed design documentation, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that all designs meet regulatory, structural, and performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related engineering degree.
• Minimum of five years of work experience performing similar primary position responsibilities exceeding performance expectations.
• PE, Professional Engineering license or EIT, Engineer in Training.
• Advanced knowledge of BIM Modeling and Revit.
• Knowledge of construction formwork systems, take-offs and estimating processes obtained from education or industry experience.
• Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
• Expertise with reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided design utilizing formwork engineering methods, such as BIM Modeling and AutoCAD.
