Job Description
We are looking for a Research Associate to join our Engineered Translation team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. As a Research Associate, you will be involved in our routine tRNA display pipeline discovery process and perform aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase/tRNA molecule selection experiments for the discovery of novel means to genetically encode non-canonical building blocks for industrial applications.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Biological Sciences or closely related field
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with molecular biology and microbiology techniques
- Excellent aseptic technique
- Clear and concise communication and presentation skills
- Excellent record keeping
