Prin Program Engineer (Civil)

Consumers Energy is looking for a Principal Program Engineer to oversee engineering and technical disciplines required to successfully complete projects. The role manages multiple initiatives, including planning projects, establishing project criteria, coordinating project reviews, and ensuring proper implementation of project elements. The incumbent will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality from conception through completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Seven or more years of experience in a program engineer capacity
• Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of GD&T principles
• Familiarity with applicable rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
