Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

CGS is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Department of Commerce systems and efforts to achieve their Authorization to Operate (ATO). The ISSO will conduct security assessment and information system security oversight activities in accordance with NIST 800.53 and support systems from the perspective of RMF requirements. The role involves reviewing systems to identify potential security weaknesses, maintaining responsibility for managing cybersecurity risk, and providing security guidance and IS validation using NIST RMF and local security policies.
