Job Description
CGS is seeking an experienced Law Clerk to support the legal mission of a large federal agency. The position will involve providing litigation support tasks like legal research, document preparation, and other relevant tasks.
Requirements
- Law Degree (J.D.)
- Minimum one (1) year, post-J.D., professional legal or other relevant experience.
- Ability to utilize law library resources and working knowledge of research tools such as Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis, CourtLink, etc.
- Ability to perform all basic computer functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of staff including AUSAs, support staff, client agencies, debtors, debtor attorneys and their staff, court personnel, business executives, witnesses, and the public.
