Job Description
Law Clerk I: provides litigation support tasks like cite checking, document review, legal research, and other relevant tasks. Supports the legal mission of a large federal agency.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school
- Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources
- Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
- Extensive experience with cite checking and blue book
- Experience performing complex legal research
- Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging
