Job Description
Contact Government Services is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to assist with administering all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of SQL Server, visualization technologies, and source/change control.
Requirements
- Administering Microsoft SQL Server
- Migrating databases from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2016
- Providing basic systems administration support
- Implementing solutions for SQL performance monitoring and tuning
- Supporting Microsoft Technologies such as Visual Studio Framework, VB.NET, ASP, NET, and Web Services
- Supporting visualization technologies such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
