Job Description
CGS is seeking a Senior FOIA Analyst to join our team supporting the legal mission of a large federal agency. The position involves processing FOIA requests, creating FOIA correspondence, and communicating negotiations, among other tasks.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of FOIA rules and regulations; specifically applying exemptions b(4), b(5), and b(6).
- Experience redacting records with trade secrets and confidential commercial information.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
