Job Description
World Group is seeking a Fleet Manager for its ContainerPort Group company in Elwood, IL. The Fleet Manager will lead a fleet of owner-operators, monitor delivery performance, and develop lasting relationships with contractors.
Requirements
- Leadership and supervision of a fleet of owner-operators
- Monitoring and ensuring effective and efficient delivery performance
- Maximizing efficiency and profitability of every delivery
- Overseeing fair and equitable distribution of loads amongst contractors
- Negotiating rates with contractors
- Developing lasting relationships with fleet of contractors
- Monitoring contractor compliance with regulations
